2014 pinot noir holder vineyard
Our second vintage produced from this small, family operated, 1.25 acre site is an exciting follow-up to the 2013 vintage. Aromas of ripe blackberry and wild strawberries mingle with notes of lavender, reductive tar and cardamom.. Ripe fruit flavors and silky soft tannins are brought together with captivating acidity on the persistent finish. Decanting is recommended for drinking now, but this wine should be enjoyable over the next 10 years or more.
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast
"Quite dark in the glass, particularly for a Pinot, and dark on the nose: blackberry, back cherry, coffee, and mint–a ton going on. On the palate, plenty of fruit, acidity, and verve. This is a tasty wine that might benefit from some more time in the cellar, but it is oh so tasty now. Outstanding. 91-93 Points."
